Lying To Me Is Another Way Of Telling Me The Truth

We shout to whoever will listen that we want honesty and sincerity more than anything.

We ask this of those around us because we feel more sure of ourselves when we know that we are being told the truth about any subject that comes our way, even the most mundane. Lying is no use …

Sometimes it happens that we are the ones who lack sincerity, or at least that’s what we think at first.

In other words,  we think we have been sincere with ourselves when in reality we were not. It is much more difficult than telling a little lie.

I lied to myself cause I thought it would be easier

We always think people lie to us out of cowardice, because we all know it is much harder to be sincere.

We also know that when it comes to saying or hushing things, there are many factors that come into play that we can make up by lying.

However, experience has taught us that lying to others can be an act of cowardice – we understand that we also cannot generalize -; but lying to ourselves is an act that reflects fear.

Someone who often lies to himself is often plagued by a problem of a different nature, but  anyone who occasionally lies to himself is most likely hiding a truth that scares him.

In these kinds of situations, the person is lying to themselves because they think it will help them move forward more easily.

The truth comes from the heart; it is impossible to contradict her

We were wrong: we cannot move forward by lying to ourselves, because in any case, lies lead us to dead ends, disappointments, suffering and ruptures – whether with ourselves or with others.

Indeed, we must understand that we can bury many things in our mind, and that the latter will continue to move forward on its own, but it will come up against limits sooner or later.

However, we cannot deceive our hearts because they cannot continue moving forward if we lie to them. 

We cannot contradict it, because by lying to ourselves we are only denying the truth.

We realized that in the heart / reason duel that assails us, it is always the heart that wins: lying to ourselves makes us see that we are not sincere and that we must remedy it.

We may have realized this too late, as often happens whenever we feel lost, but by stopping lying to ourselves we allow ourselves to be happy.

Look at each other and look the truth in the face

To achieve this,  we must dare to look inside, face all of our monsters, and face what we didn’t want to say out loud. 

We need to stop lying to each other when we fall in love unintentionally, when we thought we had passed something but it wasn’t, etc.

As we grow up we learn valuable lessons that we need to apply and advise others.

In this world where nostalgia reigns and which is increasingly cold, doing everything to be happy is a moral requirement.

We must allow ourselves to be happy whenever we have the opportunity, because we will always have reasons not to be.

We must always remember that if we have doubts about something that brings us well-being, we cannot deny it if it does not hurt anyone.

We must give ourselves the opportunity as soon as we can: lying to ourselves  is an option that will get us nowhere except to discover a truth. Besides, we are told enough lies!
