Remember One Thing: Everything Happens, Everything Happens And Everything Changes

Remember one thing: everything happens, everything happens and everything changes

Whatever the extent of your suffering, never forget that all the things that happen to us last only a while, that they eventually pass, that everything happens and that everything changes.

To understand this, we need patience, time and thought; it is certainly not easy to obtain, but neither is it impossible.

Then the day will come when you think back to what happened, and take it as an anecdote that has allowed you to sort out some great lessons.

All things that happen to us, absolutely all have a beginning and an end. If a negative event does occur, don’t despair, even if it upsets you.

However, if on the contrary you are in a good period of your life, make the most of every moment in order to keep the best possible memory.

If we are patient, then everything is within our reach

Those who have patience lack nothing, among other things because their goal is to move forward and express this journey that allows them to embrace life to the fullest, to assume the changes, and not let the present escape.

At one point or another in our lives, we all wanted our watch hands to speed up, for the pages of our calendar to turn faster.

However, over time, we are forced to think about the transcendence of the things we would like to see happen.

On this subject, a Chinese proverb contains within it a greatly therapeutic lesson: if a problem has a solution, there is no point in worrying. And if he doesn’t, there’s no point in worrying either.

There will always be something that will remain

What is certain is that even if everything passes, there will always be something that will remain. More often than not, the lessons we learn from the circumstances we live permeate part of what we call our “essence”.

Our essence accumulates these transformations that are presented to us. Thus, we must use this in our favor in order to maintain the balance between past, present and future.

When we worry excessively, and the tension arising from this worry is almost unbearable to us, we have to repeat to ourselves that everything passes and everything changes. But how to do it ?

  • Faced with events or periods of your life that distress you, you must identify these internal stimuli as well as these external events which generate anxiety or anguish in you.
To do this, try to think of something that worries you and analyze how you are handling that worry.
  • The ideal is to opt for relaxation strategies based on breathing, or any other type of activity that can allow us to focus on the present moment.
  • Thus, we can minimize expectations and other negative predictions by focusing our attention on the present moment. We cannot allow ourselves to be carried away by false expectations of future events.

What types of problems can we be confronted with?

Not every problem has its magic solution, but we can still put in place strategies that allow us to address our concerns in the best possible way.

Let’s first see what types of worries can come to us:

  • Concerns about conflicts we may have had with certain people, or about the repairs our house needs. This type of problem is very immediate, and here are what solutions can be found to remedy it:
  1. Attention should be paid to the problem, bearing in mind that problems are a part of everyday life, and that it is important to feel able to cope with them, as well as to try not to get them. respond impulsively.
  2. It is important to be able to determine what is influencing this problem, and to think of solutions that can enable us to deal with it, whether they are absurd or not; at first, we can consider everything. The more ideas we have, the better the quality of the solution.
  3. We have to choose among all the possible solutions which one is the best ; to make our choice, we must establish the pros and cons, whether in terms of our emotions or the time and effort required.
  4. Once you’ve made the most sensible decision possible, you can put it into practice. If that’s not a good solution, then we start the process all over again.

  • Another type of problem or worry that deals with immediate matters over which nothing can be done is, for example, the illness of a loved one or the state of the world. In this case, we must put in place strategies of self-control or positive reassessment, for example.
  • Irrational worries, such as fear of the end of the world or fear of suddenly falling seriously ill are not based on probable reality; this is why we must try in this case to de-dramatize by addressing the constituent arguments of these fears in such a way that we end up seeing that indeed, the latter are unlikely.

In any case, it is important to remember that nothing is permanent, and that life itself is very changeable. We must plead for the transcendence of the lessons we learn, through mistakes and sadness. We must not stop and drown, but continue to swim in order to move forward, and to get out of it.
